Tom Brady's hot. my best friend's in love with Zac Efron and her mom gave her a framed picture of Tom Brady for christmas and said "now that's a real man". I love that picture. I always ogle it when I'm over there.
I wouldn't mind my mom making fun of my love for Gabe Saporta nearly as much if she gave me a hot framed picture of Tom Brady.

Legit.yeah, sort of. i only played freshman year, though.. started working every year after that so i didn't have time for the practices and such... but i still went to a lot of the games.

That's still really cool. I mean, I've never played a football season with a future NFL player. Granted, 3 future NFL players played at my high school, but long before I was there.

true, but now they are basically a shoe in... the only teams that can really compete in the AFC are probably the chargers or steelers.
spansen
09/07/08, 07:27 PM
the steelers.. not necessarily. i like the browns and the colts.. and the browns have high expectations this year.. while the steelers ARE consistently up there.. the browns had the same record as them last year (and have improved their roster since then), and did beat the steelers one of the two meetings..
so, disregarding that they sucked today, the steelers have to outplay the browns-- and the season's just begun.

the colts aren't a shoe in. the chargers made it farther than them last year, and beat the colts twice in the process. plus, the chargers were riddled with injuries last year (gates & his toe, rivers & TWO hurt knees, kaeding & a broken plant leg, LT & his leg) so minus Merriman, they're all healthy and ready to go. plus, they've gotten used to the new coaching staff and Norv's coaching style. and with Brady injured, they can do it. Just don't look at todays game as example. Besides a slow start (hey its week 1) the chargers played a solid game. That was just unlucky at the end
/rant on Chargers due to bias.

oh, no, i know that. but looking at it realistically, i personally dont think the raiders (for example) are going to rise from the dust and go to the superbowl. but you never know. it could happen. im just a huge chargers fan and would love to see them finally make the superbowl this year after being so close.
It's sad you're happy about this...he's out for the season, you must not play sports.
I play sports. In fact, I was out for a season and a half with an injury. I dont like seeing players hurt.
That being said. I don't like Tom Brady. Granted, I don't know the guy, but it's just a personal opinion that has no real grounding. But that's sports for you (blind faith and irrationality is key, as my friends and I say). So if Tom Brady being injured allows my team to have a better chance of making the superbowl (which is does), then I'm happy. As I told my father, he's won superbowl rings already, and blew a chance last year. It's someone elses turn from the AFC to step up.
