I saw them live, and it went insane. I got scared for my life a few times near the front.

I wouldn't mind seeing them live, but it would be different without ODB.

I actually saw them at Bumbershoot last year.

I'm absolutely stoked for new Ghost. Even more so than Cuban Linx 2.

17 tracks, only 8 actually songs. The rest is interludes and RZA being crazy. They're interesting, but lose their replay value after hearing them 2 or 3 times. As for the actual songs, they're pretty good. Not a single bad track, and 2 of them I would consider "near Wu classics."

I love Ghost Face but I legitimately believe he has some sort of mental handicap... haha

Saw them in 2008 and it was hands down, one of the top 5 best shows I've ever been too. Even had ODB's cousin come out and lay down some rhymes.

The whole show was awesome and just crazy. Freakin Method standing on top of the fans, even held him up.

Kind of sucked tho at the end of the night, I think it was midnight? Cops came and shut the show down. And I swear to God, the first like, 2 beats of "Triumph" started to play and then the music and mics were cut. Made me mad. Would have love to seen that.

I have the "best Wu Tang member" discussion with a friend a lot. He says GZA, I say Ghostface. While GZA is a much better lyricist, he is really inaccessible. Also, it's undeniable how hyphy Ghostface gets on every verse.

True but Ghostface just says things that don't make any fucking sense.

And GZA verses are so steeped in slang and metaphor that they don't make sense either. I just think Ghostface has a stronger flow that is less monotonous. But if it comes down to lyrics, I am obviously of the belief that GZA has him beat.

Now I'm paraphrasing here but ghost face has lines like
I pulled out my 9 baby blue for you
now here's a tennis court for your birthday

Again, I'm of the firm belief that Ghostface has a mild mental handicap

the rza veggie burger!

What’s a RZA burger?
A RZA burger is a veggie patty with a fried egg, cheese, lettuce, pickles and all that, smashed between two delicious waffles. Spread mustard and mayo on it with a little butter and put that shit together. Trust me, son, that shit needs to be in stores.

RZA shaved the track, niggaz caught razor bumps.

I finally own 'Liquid Swords', and while I'm pretty sure that could be the only hip-hop album i'd ever need, I still want '36 Chambers', so I plan on getting it in the not-so-distant future.

If you don't get 36 you are doing yourself an injustice to which you should punish yourself for, which in this case would be not loving that record. So essentially you are continuously punishing yourself each day. Don't do that.

Lol, I know. I've heard it 7-10 times and I really like, it's jus tnot as good as 'LS'. But of course it's worth owning.

04/08/10, 11:20 PM
Everything is better than 8 Diagrams lol, but Wu-Tang Forever is pretty close to holding that title in my opinion.

Favourite members have to be Meth and RZA. Worst is definitely U-God even though I love his verse in Da Mystery Of Chessboxin'.

As for seeing them live, I saw them last year and only GZA, Rae, Masta, and U-God showed up due to customs. Ghost couldn't get across the border lol and Meth was on tour with Red. I was pretty disappointed with half the Clan not being there but I did see RZA and GZA again a few months later. I wasn't too impressed with the Wu show, but the RZA show was great.

I don't know who my favorite is. I think their most underrated member is Deck. I love all his verses. Also Masta Killa is great but underrated. If I had to choose a favorite overall, it would probably be Ghost. Shit, I don't know! Hahahaha. I don't think U-God is terrible. He's had a good verse or three. He'll never be as bad as Cappadonna.

Listening to Legendary Weapons now. They'll never create the magic of the first couple albums, especially without ODB, but I'm still digging it. Doubt they'll ever put out a cd I dislike. I really enjoy the title song.
