As most of you know, Glassjaw (www.glassjaw.net) recently parted ways with drummer Larry Gorman, guitarist Todd Weinstock and bassist Dave Allen. The band has selected former bassist Manueal Carrero and former drummer Durijah Lang (now in Classic Case (www.purevolume.com/classiccase)) to fill-in for the groups two upcoming live shows. This line-up IS NOT permanant by any means.

December 22nd- Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, NY
December 26th- Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ (w/ Thursday)

Note: Todd's guitar parts will not be prerecorded and played over the PA like previously reported. That was false, sorry about that.

Personally, I think that a band is a union, and any major lineup changes, (more then one member leaving, the singer leaving) should result in the end of the band. I think that Glassjaw is becoming a modern day Guns & Roses, which sucks.

Personally, I think that a band is a union, and any major lineup changes, (more then one member leaving, the singer leaving) should result in the end of the band. I think that Glassjaw is becoming a modern day Guns & Roses, which sucks.

i agree totally. this was the same case for me with tbs, they should have just started a new band because like it or not tbs is not the same, and glassjaw will not be the same

mikey- glassjaw never had a set line up to begin with, be honest here, it was always: daryl, beck, todd and whoever didn't get fired that month, no one cared a year ago, but now, people care because todd, a constant member is gone, and yes, as a major fan, this blows

Glassjaw isnt the same band anymore. With that many member changes at once and the fact that Daryl's new lifestyle will affect the lyrics to some degree, it will be different.

I also thought it was weird that in the liner notes of HA's Decadence, he thanks pretty much everyone except the others in Glassjaw...

right...larry is no longer drumming for gj...but he most definitley is the drummer for HA...and hes just fine with that...it was all becks decision to kick out todd dave and larry...if daryl had any balls he should have stood up for his fellow band mates and told beck to go fuck himself but that didnt happen so im sure this will just be a few shows and then that will be it...its just not glassjaw anymore...between daryl breaking edge and such a major change in the lineup i really dont think they have a chance...

Everyone needs to quit their bitching. Glassjaw is daryl and becks band and they are the key songwriters. If todd and beck dont see eye to eye with the new songwritting then it wont work. And as for larry, yes he is a great drummer but he never played on any Glassjaw album, and he probably wouldnt have played on the new album either.

jesse does not sing for easy tiger, but his good friend TJ Penzone does. They are amazing and their songs are going to blow your fuckin minds away. they are finishing up recording their major label release right now. i have some demo tracks and they are unreal. they will blow up in a matter of minutes.
