The song playing in the background just ruins it. But the little girl depressed me some, especially the part about leaving the light on, just in case he comes home.

Woah, that's quite possibly the saddest thing I've ever heard.

I hate stuff like that..mostly because I know way too many people who were in the same situation as that little girl and I just feel awful for them. The light thing was definitely the worst part.

All I will say is I am tired of the use of the acronym '9/11'. Everytime someone says it, I cringe.

Agreed, and I wasnt anywhere near the city, I was up at school in Albany and honestly no one made a big deal out of it at all which I found so shocking. But for me I placed some candles at the Fallen Fighterfighters monument at Empire Plaza here and some flowers as well. (though I realize there were so much more than just them, it was the closest I could do to pay my respects). For the other years I went into the city probably around 2-3 in the morning with some friends and visited the site and left some candles, I was kinda disapointed I didnt get to this year.

Though I havent been to the website posted, Im sure it is pretty sad. I honestly just couldnt (probably will though) but at the moment cant but thats just me. It was hard enough to make a video on the issue after the attacks for my film class as a tribute. Still havent watched it all the way through more than once.

It wasn't really unnoticed here, my town as well as most of the surrounding ones had some sort of memorial service.

And I think part of the reason it's not getting as much attention is because people don't like to hear about it.
