This morning I decided it's seriously time to get rid of my baseball cards. Before I put them up at the weekly card show in my town, I thought I'd see if anyone here is interested in them. I'll put up a list of the cards I have and their condition as determined by an appraiser at the last card show I went to.
Photos can be given as soon as I see someone ask for the cards, and prices are totally negotiable. I know some of these are really valuable but I don't care enough about the cards or the money to spend my time looking for a serious collector to pay $100+ for a mint condition Barry Bonds game-used bat card.
The scale of the physical condition of the cards goes as follows from best to worst: Mint, Near Mint, Great, Good
Here's my list of valuable cards [kept in the condition I received them in and in cases since the day I got them whether in purchase or in trades]:
Craig Biggio Rookie [topps] - Near Mint
Jeff Bagwell Rookie [donruss] - Mint
Bernie Williams rookie [topps] - Great
Derek Jeter rookie [topps 50 years collection] - Mint, draft pick card
Barry Bonds, Game-Used Bat Card [fleer championship collection] - better than Mint. this card has been kept in its plastic sleeve which was sealed with a "Championship Collection" sticker still in the box. It's been kept in a case and out of sunlight, heat, and even air since I've had it.
Bartolo Colon rookie [pinnacle] - Near Mint
Gary Sheffield rookie [donruss '89] - Great, labeled as a short-stop
Bo Jackson rookie [topps] - mint, shows no stats
Babe Ruth original rookie World Series card [1915, Red Sox] - Great
Warren Spahn autographed [Donruss - Elite Series Legends] - also better than Mint, same conditions as the Barry Bonds card.
Albert Pujols rookie [fleer premium] - Mint, shows minor league stats and Cardinals Rookie
Chipper Jones rookie [upper deck] - good
Cal Ripken Jr. rookie [topps - future stars series] - mint
Randy Johnson rated rookie [donruss '89] - mint, shows stats of '88 season with Expos
Dave Justice rookie [topps all-star rookie collection] - Mint, shows minor league stats
Mark Prior prospect [fleer tradition series] - mint, 'no professional experience'
Ken Griffey Jr. rookie [topps] - good
