I'm going to make my mom a mix cd.. and I wanted some suggestions from you guys.
she likes every type of music actually, but I don't want to make it a mix of genres. so ... well, she loves bryan adams, phil collins... you know stuff like that... so I want to find similar stuff to use on her mix.
I've been thinking of Elliott Smith & other indie pop musicians cause she loves them, but I guess I want to make a mix of classic musicians, like from the 80s & early 90s...
any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
the police or bob dylan...my mom really likes those

look at the tracklist to that 90's cd that's on tv a lot. That's got a lot of good songs on it.

Copeland would probally work, and they have some real good cover songs you could use.
Jeff Buckley(although I'm pretty sure she listens to him), Iron and Wine, Rilo Kiley has some really good acoustic songs.
