MTV does suck but they have some things I find to be watchable and sometimes entertaining. The only things I watch are Pimp My Ride, Boiling Point, and Viva La Bam. never heard pipedown, but i consider the unseen the older punk.....because they are so old (i love them by the way) and i dont think Rise against is because they sound to deep, i dont know....its hard to argue on this because its just pure opinion, but the sound of punk has changed and blended with the other genres since the 70s & 80s and.....for lack of a better discription.... the original punk has faded into very few good modern bands. i guess the unseen do count since theyre still at it, but thats still not alot. the vandals are also at it still, but ive only heard a couple of songs by them.....so....i donno

VH1 tries entirely too hard to keep its ratings up.. sure, the I love the 70s,80s,90s series is great.. but they apply that formula of taking B-rated actors making fun of pop culture to EVERY show they do now and its kind of pathetic. both of them need to get their act together and play some videos every once in a while..and not just after hours.
