Brand New is coming To IUP which is in indiana Pennsylvania on the 29th i believe. Does anyone know what songs theyve been playing live lately. Have they been playin jude law, the quiet things, or last chance to lose your keys? Just curious cause i saw some set lists from other shows and they were not on there.

sorry its the 28th it was advertised all around our school but it was not on their website or myspace. I just got my tickets today

nvm: its a 5 and a half hour drive for me. I know they said they were doing like 2 other college shows besides the ones announced. Any info on them? Something in the tri state area?

they play mostly the devil and god stuff.. some deja... maybe No Seatbelt Song, but not much of anything from YFW... when i saw them at Lolla they played a new tune, so maybe you'll get some?

the shower scene and another yfw song, the staples off of deja, and basically all of devil and god plus a new song and maybe a cover.

They sometimes throw in a Wilson Phillips cover from time to time as well...
ya i was afraid they wouldnt be playing those songs i just found it odd because jude law and the quiet things were there two most popular songs

unfortunately, i think that's part of the reason they don't play them...jude law was all but retired a few years ago, but they were playing quiet things up until recently. good luck hearing any of those, though. if you do, try and catch some video for the rest of us lol

but thats awesome that they are playing your school, i find it kinda weird they are playing 3 or 4 random college shows and nothing else, albeit they are going into recording
ya i was really surprised they picked iup too just seems kinda random i was completely siked til i saw i wont get to see my 3 favorite songs live. But i like there newer stuff as well so im sure it will be an awesome show

You could use the search function because 95% of the time there is a Brand New show and people come back and post them. And they never play the same setlist twice, they might play the same songs but it'll be in a different order.

i cant believe this thread was made just because of the songs that were mentioned.
im sorry, but you dont really follow this band at ALL do you?
they play almost the same stuff all the time, youll get all of the devil and god with the exception of 1-3 songs (untitled, limousine, handcuffs, you probalby wont get 2 of the 3, the equipment they use for untitled and limousien they dont bring to small shows like that usually). youll get sic transit gloria... glory fades, youll PROBABLY get shower scene, no seatbelt song, jaws theme swimming. youll get 3 or 4 other deja songs, a cover song (odds are oh comely by neutral milk hotel which will be played when jesse does a couple acoustic songs solo in the middle of the set) and if your lucky a 3rd your favorite weapon song.
if the songs you listed are the kinds of songs you want to hear at a brand new show, dont go cause you wont have fun

they played 70x7, mixtape, and logan to gov square a while back for an encore. wouldnt it be funny if they played quiet things, jude law, and last chance to lose your keys for this shows encore? then everyone would be wrong.
in conclusion, dont count on it, but jesse does like to fuck people so dont rule it out either
and dont listen to the guy above me. DO NOT for any reason not go to this. brand new is the shit live and if you're lucky enough to have them play at your school then you should go
