For my psychology of human relations class. Basically we have to use a notebook/scrapbook to make a written/visual description of who you are(ie, family, friends, things you love...mine will mainly consist of music) BUT she's only giving us(get this) 2 weeks til the due date. I usually never complain about things like this but I think we should at least have a month for this sort of project. I'm a very artsy person and I love the idea of this project so if I feel I half-assed it just to get it done on time, I'll be pissed. Sorry for the rant...what do you guys think? Not enough time?

Not enough time. A family/personal scrapbook (at least to me) would have to include things I have at my parents' house, and being 2 hours from home I can't just drop everything and drive there and back whenever I want to. I've had projects where I've had to come up with pictures from when I was little for the next class (2 days away), which I obviously don't have stashed away here. Seriously, does everyone else pack up all they own for school?

I don't know I think making a scrapbook at 21 is kind of silly, I thought it was silly in high school and middle school too

Luckily I'm still at home and my school is down the street from me, but that really sucks man I think sometimes these professors just don't think before they assign things. I guess common sense goes out the window. I basically made out some notes last night of the main 6 or 7 things I want to point out, one page for each. I'm just glad there is no length requirement but I still don't think it's enough time.

It depends how big/thick you want it to be. I managed to make one in about a few days, but it was only like 10 pages or something like that.

Got some beautiful scrape book paper at ac moore today, I'm going to aim for around 5 pages but I may do more. I'm just going to concentrate on one page at a time.

I made a scrap book once. I had a ton of fun doing it, even though I'm not a particularly artistic person. Meanwhile, do you want to know the strange assignment my teacher just gave me? Eavesdrop on people, and record their conversations.

Why?

I never know what to say when people ask me what I'm interested in, because really there's only two things: people and music. I don't belong to a religion and I don't play a sport, except for swim team which really isn't good for a conversation. I am also not the type of person that many interesting things happen to. I'm glad I don't have to do the scrapbook project.

I don't really know. I guess it's because it's a playwritting class and he thinks dialog has to mimic normal conversation. But, i'm sure he's going to have us do some strange exercise with it. Meanwhile, I haven't overheard any decent conversations yet.

I had to interview people for a crisis intervention class and record the whole thing. I had a choice over who to interview but it was still weird.
