I need to get some shit done about my boyfriends ex-girlfriend. They're still like friends, and all, which --to me-- seems totally weird. Am I the only person in the world who, more or less, HATE the exes?
Anyways. She tells everyone they're still going to get married when they grow up, and that they just have to get older and gain more life-experience: this really pisses me off.

Edit: It turns out they played an acoustic reunion show last month. It would be cool if they did some more of those.

I'm friends with my ex. I guess it sort of depends on how long people have been together. We were dating for three years so it's not that simple to just walk away and forget about a person. You develop a connection that becomes pretty meaningful. It sucks for new significant others but that's life I guess.

I have no real advice other than consider how long they've been together. If it was for a good amount of time I'd be a little more understanding but you should be upfront with this guy as well.
