The Get Up Kids are going to be putting out a Live CD in June 2005 according to Matt Pryor at the New Amsterdams website (http://www.newams.net).

this should be a good cd. tguk are way good live, and i hope it's a good setlist with old and some new songs.

Agreed. A lot of bands tweak their melodies live and sometimes they can sound even better.

I was hoping they'd do this eventually. I usually hate live albums, but TGUK are awesome live. The Juliana Theory's live cd is the best I have ever heard. Live From the Mark Tom and Travis Show was good just for all the between-song jokes that Blink is famous for. Aside from that the only live cd that ever interested me was the Ataris one.

First off buddyhead submits anything so they get hits at their website. Second I really wouldn't doubt this, doesn't he have a family now?

I downloaded a recording of Matt singing Hey Ya the other day and that was the best thing I have heard in a long time (as far as a novelty goes). A live album from the whole band would be great!

yes, he has a young daughter.

the rumours may be true, but it would be more due to various musical directions of each member and popularity of each side project.
