I wrote this for the Austin Texas Bar scene:

I'm getting better at these things

One night stands and drinking games

I've closed the curtain on my heart

Thought out the end before we start

But everyone has their call

We'll fly towards the sun until we fall

into the darkness that I call home

With my fun and friends I still feel alone

As someone who has been to Austin before, you forgot to mention all the live music, the smell of barbecue and alchohol, loud whoops and the soft persistent steps of people passing by. It's the sound of life with a lot of unbelievability mixed into it.

Plus that poem thing you wrote is emo.
