ok, this may not be as good of an idea as i think it is. but, what is your favorite size band? like how many members? 4 piece etc... so vote. then discuss.

I only like bands with 9 members. One of has to be siamese twins.

I'd say a four piece. Drummer, bassist, two guitarists (with either one singing). I prefer singers who play instruments, kinda shows more talent to me.

i was thinking nine too. slipknot! 666!!!
nine is cool though... showbread has nine.

i like 5 because that ussually enables a band to get a person just for singing, its not like theyll keep a semi okay singer because hes also a key part of the instumental part as well

i like two singers, a keyboard player, two guitarists, a bassist, a drummer, and maybe some horns, ASOB's style.

3 doesn't give you a full enough sound
4 is perfect...see jimmy eat world
5 means someone is slacking
6 means you had better be the rx bandits or you have too many people

well lets see i love blink 182, 3 members...and i love underoath, 6 members. to me it doesnt really matter at all, as long as the music is good, you know? but if i was in a band, i'd want a 4 or 5 piece. i love double guitar, sometimes 1 just isnt enough.

Two guitars are a must.
KarolaBloch

yeah i like two guitars bass and drums.. and then a singer who doesn't have an instrument so he can walk with the mic and dance and put in into the crowds face.

I think its a sign of a good band if they can pull it off with one guitar. Like Muse, they get such a huge sound with one guitar, plus he sings like a hero too.

Streetlight Manifesto are:
dan ross
mike soprano
jim conti
jamie egan
chris thatcher
tomas kalnoky
chris paszik
So there's seven.
Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution have an awesome lineup.
Nick - trumpet
Marcy - cello
Jamie - trombone
Rachel - viola, vocals
Layton - piano
Achilles - violin
Tomas - vocals, guitar
Paul - drums
Chris - upright bass
Mark - french horn
Dan - baritone/alto sax
Pete - tenor sax
Shane - congas/timbales
Natalia - vocals
That's badass.

i like 5 or 4 - as long as the lead singer isnt playing an instrument. i like the lead singer to just sing, not play.

5.
I just love when the singer can move around. Gets the crowd more in.
Six, because piano's are fun.

woah. a 14 person lineup. that is crazy. do they all play live? thats gotta be one crowded stage.
I personally like a 4 person lineup, with 2 guitars. But I would like to argue with people who think that 3 people doesn't give you a full enough sound, Alkaline Trio pull it off well, having a bassist as talented as Dan always helps though.

i like six members because i think that having keyboard or another alternative instument add variety to the band. and how come only the guitarist can sing and play an insutrument at the same time. What about Bass? or even drums?

blink 182, underoath, atreyu, from autumn to ashes, and alot of less popular bands have other singers.
