Which of these 9/11 based/influence films is your favorite?

I picked ROM. It wasn't as much about 09.11 as much as the other two, but the other two were crap.

I've only seen Flight 93 and WTC, but I'm going to say WTC

if it were about movies directly related to the events, I would have said United 93 because WTC was steaming pile. Reign Over Me is the best movie out of the three though. Incredible film.

I guess Fahrenheit 9/11 works too, but there are tons of 9/11 docs.

They played Shadow of Colossus in Reign Over Me so it wins.

I voted United 93 cause well it's the only one I saw. It was pretty good. It made too sad to ever wanna watch again though.

United 93. Loved it, I cried the most during it then any other film. It's hard to finish.

in what way?
sandler's reaction to his family's death is pretty absurd, and regardless it's clear he needed more than just some friendly interaction and a psychiatrist. all the characters actions in the film just seemed odd and not what should be done.

I haven't seen any of them. I just hate thinking about it and getting really depressed.

Adam Sandler in ROM was incredible, I have so much respect for him after that movie. Does anyone else share this opinion?
I saw United 93 for the first time a few weeks ago, needless to say when the movie ends, you couldn't help but to feel as if a piece of yourself died with those victims depicted in the movie.
I agree on all of the comments on ROM for sure though.

No Fahrenheit 9/11?
United 93 is the only one I've seen.
Personally, I think it's depressing that a disaster has been made into entertainment, but not everyone would see it that way.

In my opinion, that piece of shit doesn't even count as a movie. All the respect I had for Michael Moore from Roger and Me and Bowling for Columbine was lost with that.

Still though, I'm disinclined to vote for any of the films, because as eye opening or as heartbreaking as they may have been, they're still capitalizing on a tragedy. :-(

As is pretty much 1/2 or so off all "Based on a True Story" movies ever made.

i went with united 93 even tho i like ROM more. i just don't see it as a "9/11" movie. you can replace what happened to sandler's family in that movie with pretty much any tragedy and it wouldn't change the movie.

eh, i disagree. there's a key scene in there where he's vividly describing what happened to his family and being based around this huge tragedy that everyone knows and has feelings about really makes that scene hit harder.

United 93 > Reign Over Me > WTC
I am one of the few that liked WTC.
