Glassjaw Show Cancelled

Daryl of Glassjaw (www.glassjaw.net) didnt recover from surgery as quick as originally expected. The December 22nd show at the Crazy Donkey is not happening. However,the band would like to re-schedule the show..This of course will be in accordance with Daryl's health and Head Automatica (www.headautomatica.com)'s tour schedule.

Refunds are being given,but we will try and to announce the postponed date by Friday (December 10th) the latest.

Wow that sucks alot....Although I wasnt going to pay for the show, hense me not being as mad as others will be, Im still kinda pissed. I was pumped to see them. Oh well, typical Glassjaw show on Long Island though....its booked then cancelled (though this time for a ligit reason).

As sincere as your need for Glassjaw (or HA?) to play Jersey may be, I'm sure most of us are just hopinh that Daryl recovers as soon as possible.

I'm a devout G/J fan(atic)...tattooed and all, but I'm not into h/a. Just because it's Daryl singing doesn't make it appeal to me... But I know alot of other g/j fans who love h/a as well... it's all a matter of taste i suppose. And I hope Daryls health get's back up to par for all the kids looking forward to the day-after-christmas show...I can't be there but hopefully other people will be able to enjoy it.

Sucks to hear that they won't be playing...but I'm hoping for his quick recovery.

I've known Glassjaw fans (long-time fans) that really like HA...I guess it's just a matter of personal preference. I like both, but I'm not a REALLY long Glassjaw fan.

This is messed up... I was really looking forward to the show but if he says its his health that is stopping in then I can respect that. I cant help but feel that maybe they just werent prepared. Whatever..like someone said before... its a typical long island glassjaw show. Gets scheduled and week or two before the show its cancelled. nothing new.
