Taking Back Sunday (www.takingbacksunday.com) has a new merch deal: buy $40 (or more) worth of merch and receive a free limited edition TBS poster calendar courtesy of Atticus (www.atticus.com). On a small/insignificant side note, the band is RUMORED to be doing a co-headlining tour with Jimmy Eat World (www.jimmyeatworld.com) in Spring '05.

i understand what you're saying, and i agree, but think about it. in the past six months, who has been bigger on the 'mtv scene'? with co-headlining, you'll get the true fans of both bands, and tbs can get their mainstream pub.
i really do love both bands tho, and that probably didn't make much sense...
I posted this in another news thread the other day, but I don't know that a lot of people saw it...

That third band won't be Brand New.
It Mae be someone else. Someone Mae be planning a tour with JEW after their album drops in the spring, and it Mae be after some little tour with Relient K.
Reason? Brand New are booked here in Cleveland to headline in the spring already.

That will be a cool tour. I'm sure they'll get a good 3rd band, you'd have to pretty crazy to pass up the exposeur that comes with opening for these two bands.

What!? Where at?
So, what you're saying is that the third band is really aMAEzing?

House Of Blues Cleveland. No date yet, but my neighbor works there and they've been talking about booking things there. It'll likely be April/May, but as of now, nothing's certain.
And yes, the third band is simply amaezing. I Mae be jumping the gun on this, but I think it's a safe bet that this tour is one that maebe could be an early contender for tour of the year, along with the SoCo/Straylight tour.

i saw both these bands last month, and jimmy eat world definately comes out on top, theyre pure goodness live, tbs was also pretty good, so this would be a cool tour, although i doubt they would come again here so soon

Thanks for the information! I can't wait until they tour again. It's been too long, especially since they've been to the midwest.
JEW/TBS/Mae will not be missed by me. SoCo/Straylight is going to be great too. Thank god they added another Chicago show since I was stupid and didn't get tickets before the Metro show sold out!
