Greg Gaffin of Bad Religion (www.badreligion.com) recently made his thesis available at the band's website. The thesis is titled "Evolution, Monism, Atheism and The Naturalist World-View" and all orders made in the month of December will be autographed.

This has been available for a while and I have mine signed. I have read about half of it and I think it is very interesting. If you are not familiar with his topic, it can be hard to follow at times. It is worth it to buy if you are interested in evolutionary biology or if you are just a fan of Greg's. One more thing: I think it took almost six to eight weeks to ship and I only live in Ohio!

I wanted to read my friend's dissertation that he wrote for he PhD last year, but his mom told me it was so complicated and complex and technical that she couldn't get past page three. I have a feeling this might be the case here, oh well, I'm still buying it.

i'm going to sound like an ignorant bastard, but didn't he get a PhD in cultural anthropology or something of the sort? I remember seeing a video of him explaining his thesis in layman's term, and it had to do with evolution and society/religions views in relation. it sounded really interesting.

I love having conversations with people about these types of things. Iam not a huge fan of Bad Religion. I like some of their music, but I respect them for honoring education.
