So let's see who agrees with me. I have some things to say:

1. I am very drunk, so please be nice. I just really need something to occupy my time.
2. The Academy Is...-I've never seen but heard good things, and they're now on two tours I want to see, so I'm looking forward to this.
3. Something Corporate- Overplayed, and far too many little girls like them, but my guilty pleasure is listening to "Woke Up in a Car" and "Hurricane," especially when a hurricane hit my school last year and I was making margaritas. They're not my fav., but they're a fun time. All you big 17 year old guys who act too tough for them, fuck off. I'll kick your ass (twice), and they're still not bad.
4. Straylight Run- Heard the demos and thought they were great; saw them live at Skate and Surf in Asbury Park, NJ...they were ok but Michelle's vocals were too loud. It bothered me. Now, I love the official recording of "Existentialism..." so this could be interesting, one way or the other; worth seeing, just for the sake of seeing John Nolan's new effort.
5. Hidden in Plain View- Old stuff was awesome. When did they go from being pop-punk (the EP before Drive-Thru (which is fucking awesome awesome good aweomse)) to kinda screamo-ish crap (don't try to be Story of the Year; they're not that good). The new version of "American Classic" is terrible compared to the old. Still, they're very entertaining live, and they're really cool guys. I'll probably like their new stuff but still think "Milligrams for Migraines" is the best song they have. If you've never heard it, please don't bother responding to this post. Go listen to good music.
6. Armor For Sleep- Please record new material. I can only listen to one CD so many times, and you're good, but please just give me more to enjoy. Also...eh...I can't think of more to say. Just keep being good.
7. Motion City Soundtrack- The best name I've seen in this post. I don't remember the singer's name (yeah, call me stupid, you loser bitch who has nothing better to do than remember singer's names), but I read an interview with him and he's incredibly smart and funny. They're just meaningful and heartfelt but also something a lot of people just enjoy together and dance with. Go see them, go have fun, go drink a beer, and go have fun....

I apologize for insults and profanities.
"Our whole lives laid out right in front of us."

I just remembered! His name is Justin Pierre!!

You need a few more beers dude. I could understand that entire post. Either you are very skilled in drunken posting or you are not nearly drunk enough. Either way nice job.

I think tate could be talking about Fueled By Ramen....

seeing as The Academy Is... is on Atlantic (or some major) now.

LLR Did nothing but good things for The Academy Is...

Not to mention HIPV.

This is going to be an amazing tour, and if they don't stop through ATL, I will be pissed off beyond belief. I've never heard of the The Academy Is.., but I love SoCo, Straylight Run, Hidden in Plain View, and Armor for Sleep.

The Academy is... NOT on atlantic, although it was falsely reported by some. They are on Fueled By Ramen Records.

Tate probably designed something for them or did a favor for them and they (LLR Records) were lame about paying him back. I designed an old Remember Maine shirt, and it was a while before they got around to sending me my loot, and even then I had to ask them what was up a few times.

I know the soco site has them and they have been posted around here at least 2 times but I am so fucking lazy I can't find the energy to go find where. I do know for sure that the tour will not be playing in any nunneries, sno-cone stands, Chautauqua, library openings, galas, cake walks, bridge clubs, tractor pulls, flag burnings, ribbon cuttings, high teas, rotary clubs, babtisms, infomercial filmings(Ron Popeil HATES the song Hurricane by SoCo and feels as if they sold out when they put out a record with Geffen), the city council meetings in Portland, Oregon, or FFA conventions.

The NATO summit date has been postponed.
