Maxeen (http://www.maxeen.com) have been busy demoing new material for their sophomore full length. They are now browsing for a producer to record with. Read a full message from the band on the matters in the replies.

Just wanted to let you know that we have been hard at work writing songs for the new record. Our goal is to write 25 new songs so that we can put out a full length album and then release more songs on itunes and our website. We finished our first round of demos last week and we will be recording 10 more next Tuesday. Unfortunately, Jay has been on the injured list this last week for a sprained wrist. Apparently some people go blind and some just get a sprained wrist. Today Jay was back with us in the rehearsal space rocking. Aside from some severe dehydration, he seems to be doing fine. In the next couple of weeks we will be hunting for a producer to make the record with. If you know of any producers that you like from some of your favorite sounding records let us know. Please no Phil Spector suggestions--Tom is still recovering from the trauma he suffered from our last Spector session. Apparently Phil held Tom hostage at needle point for several hours while demanding that he sing all his vocals in the nude and without proper safety gear (Tom always sings in the studio with a helmet to help prevent injury). Anyway we look forward to hearing from you as much as you look forward to hearing from us. By the way we do have some new tour dates coming in February. I know what you're thinking, "That might as well be next year." Well it is next year but this year is almost over so it's cool.
