Incorrect. Having trees (real ones) is sweet. Actually decorating them when you're older gets lame, but that's what my 3 younger sisters are there for.
Everyone in my house is either as old as me, or older. All of us usually have our own agendas during holidays, with like friends and shit. So we like never decorate or eat xmas dinner or anything.

yeah, it was fun doing it too. We all had our boyfriends/friends over and we decorated, played fun Christmas music, watched Christmas movies, drank a little, eat a lot. It was fun...we decided we're making it something we do every Christmas from now on.

That's so awesome.

Yeah my 3 roommates and I went and got a bunch of Christmas lights and strung them all around the house, and got a little tree that we threw up. It's really cool to come home to all that. For some reason it feels a lot more special because we had to put it all together on our own. It's cool, because your roommates/housemates/whatever-i'm-supposed-to-call-them become like your new family.

Perhaps you don't realize how cliche and old it is to say this. It's not really a joke anymore. It's not even funny. It is said probably every 3 posts by every new person on here for the first like..month they're around.

But then again, I can imagine never having a real tree. One of my best memories of christmas growing up is smelling the tree everywhere in my house. It's one of the things I miss most about being home. Smelling the tree, and hearing the fire in the fireplace. One of the best things ever.

I actually used to go up to the mountain with my family and cut down a tree. Now that's some real Christmas tree hunting. No dinky tree farms or pre-cut trees, we got ours right of the side of the fuckin' mountain! BEAT THAT! haha :)
