this. punk doesnt have to mean "tone deaf" or "unintelligent." and bad religion are overrated.

I also like The Ramones, The Buzzcocks, Television, X, Husker Du, The Anti Nowhere League, The Dead Milkmen, and a bunch of others whose punkishness might be debatable. But I can't say I'm too big of a fan of any of the bands listed. I haven't heard The Lawrence Arms yet, but I see them mentioned here a lot. I think the name has kept me from checking them out. Someone give me a good description of their sound that will sell me on them.

I accidentally chose Rancid because i didn't see NOFX for some reason. NOFX always, they were the first band i ever saw.

Wow...tuff decision. I went w/ Strung Out, but I've been listening to a lot of The Lawrence Arms lately. NOFX is always at the top of my list also. Why are The Flatliners on there? How about Pennywise, Lagwagon, NUFAN, Bouncing Souls, Pulley........

NOFX for me. And I don't think The Flatliners should be in the poll, they're too recent compared to all the other ones.
