like from songs.

I would have to say "love is not like anything especially a fuckin kinife" from the used. i just saw some guy set that as his facebook status. First time I heard that song I knew it was going to be overused.

You can't overuse any lyric written by The Used. They're just too deep and meaningful to lose substance.

Did you get aroused?

Jokes aside, that's horrible. Kids are growing up too fast these days, I know I'm only 17, but I didn't do HALF of the things 12 year olds are doing these days when I was 12, it's disgusting.

But all jokes aside, (wahey), it really gets to me, people go on about how heavy music is a bad influence and all that, then you watch The Pussycat Dolls all over the charts singing about how when they grow up they "want to have boobies".

EDIT: Upon Googling, the actual line is "I wanna have groupies", but according to a load of websites, many other people think they say boobies haha.

I haven't, but I still think he's a horny bugger.

Me neither, although I do think the more subtle, self fulfilling prophecies of the charts these days are a lot more dangerous than any obvious lyric some death metal band wrote about death or whatever.

Okay that's a bit extreme, but at least they're putting it out there without wanting to change people or anything, but the scary thing is that a lot of "pop" music these days is written with profit in mind, and they can control kids like it's nothing with a cleverly written song, that's what scares me.

That might've made no sense.

any grave, destructive, or trauma-oriented hyperbolic metaphor for relationship drama is cliche as manufactured by this decade's fake pop-punk scene. its half the reason why it's perceived to be so melodramatic and whiney. the other half is, of course, the thin untrained voices.
