This band is excellent.

They remind me of Algernon Cadwallader if you added a female vocalist element as well.

Really? Strange.

Reminds me a lot of Los Campesinos! probably due to the dueling male/female vocals, but Algernon has a much rawer sound. I guess I can kinda hear some comparisons between the two, but just not enough to remind me of the other.

Yeah, definitely not as raw, but I still find a lot of elements similar.

can't get enough of this band. Listening to them right now. And last week at the library someone came over and asked me to turn my music down because I was jamming too loud. PUNK ROCK

I don't really hear the bloc party comparison. Much to yelp-y for me. Far more crazed if you will.

Yeah I don't hear it either.
I know they don't sound exactly like Algernon, but they do remind me of them.

i can see some similarities vocally I guess. But the buck stops there.
They sound like Algernon to me in their instrumentality.

Took me a few listens to really get the flow of it but I really like their new album. Gotta get a hard copy as soon as I can. I love their artwork. Criminals and I'll Choose My Side and Shut Up are my early favorites.
