Discuss. Just listened to his new album Caught in the Trees for the first time tonight. Has anyone else heard it yet?

It's real good. So is Ghost of David. Unfortunately CitT and GoD are the only albums of his that I own.

yeah I agree some of his songs can be real boring but I thought Caught in the Trees was fairly consistent.

I've avoided the last two releases like the plague due to how unsavory I found the three post-I Break Chairs albums to be. Vinh assured me that And Now I'm in Your Shadow is worth a listen.
Regardless, Jurado is one of the better songwriters to emerge in the late '90s. Ghost of David proves he's a skilled storyteller, with nearly every song on the album having the potential to break your heart.

Singer songwriter with some indie-ish production and a touch of country.

He is quickly becoming one of my favorite songwriters. I heard he already recorded an album in february of this year, I hope he releases it soon. Saint bartlett is incredible.
