Shits ridiculous. Third week and I get plunked with a 88 question multiple choice test. Anyone else taking it?

i took it last year. we had a 120 mc test the first day of school on like, 15 chapters we had to read over the summer haha. it's not so bad, if you're using the campbell/reece ap biology textbook and your teacher uses the test questions that come with the book you'll be fine as long as you can manage decently on them, since they go to a level of depth the ap exam never ever does. don't even stress on it though, last year there was a 3 part essay on protein folding and i accidentally skipped an entire section and still pulled a 5. you'll be alright, don't stress on it.

Yeah we're using the book but my teachers taken the liberty and created his own tests (and 5 or so different versions to curb cheating); I failed obviously. I'm not so much concerned with the AP test as I am with my grade in the class, how hard did you study and what grade did you get?

I took AP Bio my junior year of high school, and since that was like 4 years ago, I'm sure it's changed. I pulled a 4 somehow. It was pretty tough

I loved this class. It was tough, especially photosynthesis and cellular respiration... but it shaped my love for biology. :]

I thought this class was really hard.

I had two different teachers for this class, and the second one wasn't very good, but we had fun making fun of her. I don't remember how hard the class was, but I think I got a 3 on the exam.

I like it so far. It's hard though, I just failed a test on it. I should have studied haha.
i wish i did, i have the worst teacher right now for cell molec in college and it wouldve helped if i already knew this material

I'm taking AP Biology as a sophomore. We're supposed to have chemistry honors before this class, which I don't.
Well, last week, we took a 100 test on chapters 1 through 5 of the Campbell/Reece book, and I ended up getting a 91, the second-highest grade in the class.
From what I've seen so far, just study with the CD the textbook comes with and you'll do fine.

I like it so far, it's a lot of studying for me because I'm pretty lazy about that, but it seems okay.

Really, the only studying you should have to do for that class is reading the chapter a couple times (maybe even outlining it) and using the CD.
The CD has three practice tests, as well as concept reviews.

Yeah, I heard the CD helps. But I don't ever use it. I'm taking it as a sophomore as well.
I'm a junior and taking it, and so far it's not that hard.

Lucky you guys. I took AP Chemistry when I could have taken AP Bio and I ending up going into the medical field, so basically my first year in college suuuucked. Haha.

I took that class my senior year, last year. Um, I don't think my teacher was at all qualified. The class was formed 15 minutes before school started on the first day. She is normally just an on-level biology instructor, and biology 2 honours/ap is a big step up from that. She was an idiot, in a word. It made the class really hard.

I took it my junior year in high school and hated it at the time, but now I'm a bio major, so who knows you might like it eventually? I basically just taught myself from the book and then used the cd to see the videos of the processes.

We just did AP Lab #2 today, the one on enzyme catalysis.
I think I was the only person in that class who wasn't afraid of sulfuric acid.

I love this class. I have the same book as the rest of you, but i rarely read anything in it so that might explain my current grade. Other than that, it seems to be a slight expansion on Honors Bio which used the same authors. It was the book with the pelican on the cover; did anyone else have that?

My class is going far too slow.
The first seven chapters of Campbell/Reece after the first quarter of school.
Pathetic.
