Now that Death Magnetic has been out for a couple days and everyone that should've listened to it has by now, I can create this poll. Which is your favorite/best Metallica album (studio albums, Garage Inc. doesn't count)?

i never really understood why kill em all is regarded by many so highly. i never thought it was particularly good.

All of the first four are classics, couldn't go wrong with any of them.

But Load, ReLoad, and St. Anger got 25 votes total? So THAT'S whose been diluting the gene pool!

metallica was done in the 80s, they just make new records to get over the bills they have to pay for rehab, black or puppets was the best...........back when they were good

Ride The Lightning got me in to Metallica and heavy music in general, but Master Of Puppets is the better album.

Master of Puppets and then Kill em All. I couldn't really get into Ride the Lighting because the vocals were really low in the mix. Nobody really agrees with me but my brother. Has anyone else thought this?

master of puppets got me into metallica so I'll always give it credit, Kill 'em all has my favorite song by them on it, Seek And Destroy, but over all ...And Justice for all is my favorite album. like somebody said before, 'its one big shred-fest'

i know its the stock pick, but i went with master of puppets. close second would be ride the lightning and ...and justice for all.
