It's a hot-button issue over which of Catch-22's albums are superior, so much so that it's being discussed in the newest Streetlight thread. So pick it!

honeslty if you think AITC is a superior record in any way shape or form to Keasbea Nights, something is wrong with you, first and foremost Tom K. is on the record bringing his vocals, lyrics, and guitar skills with him. You also have the original crew with egan and KG etc. KN is a classic ska album

This was NOT a tough decision. At all.

Keasbey Nights. Alone in a Crowd is good, but it doesn't even compare to Keasbey.

i liked Alone in a Crowd better. The songs are more intense and the hornlines sound more badass. The singing sounds better and the entire album is just fuckin rockin as shit.
but Dino Sounds is my favorite, shit yeah! Greatest fuckin band ever!

That's odd, considering Dinosaur Sounds is the least "intense" album in Catch 22's catalogue.

It's probably more intense than Keasbey. But yeah i just fucking love that record. The singing and the horns and the guitarwork just do it for me. And the overall mood of the album just makes me feel awesome whenever i listen to it.

Not really. Besides "Rocky," it's more or less bouncy pop-punk with horns. I would say Keasbey is more intense.

I don't really know of any parts of Keasbey that are really intense. But i'd say Rocky, parts of Wined Stained, parts of Motown, the ripness of Chin Up, and the balls out intensity of Dripping Faucet, and Regression is just slammin.
And then it ends with the intense Lamont's Lament.
I've never really rocked out to any parts of Keasbey at all. It's just like a skankin record all the way through. But on Dino i rock out and bang my freakin head on just about every single song.

No question about this at all, although both are great albums.
What did Keasbey do for the ska scene? What did Alone In A Crowd do?
Exactly.

As much as I absolutely loved Keasby Nights, I've discovered them with Alone In A Crowd. Had to go with that.
