This is for anyone who has applied to colleges and is either waiting for or has already gotten their acceptance/rejection letters (so pretty much seniors). Where did you guys apply to and have you heard anything yet?
I have applied to: Stony Brook U, Binghamton U, Rutgers (Camden and New Brunswick), and College of Mount Saint Vincent. I'm getting my replies within the next two weeks. :: crosses fingers::

I got deferred from Brown... but I'm happy because I still have a chance. I'm working on a bunch of applications for other schools now.

I have a friend who just got accepted to Elon. I'm thinking of applying to USF also. I apllied to Towson, that is where i really wan to go. . . .butthis (http://www.thewbalchannel.com/news/4012948/detail.html) better not mess with my chances of getting in. It probably wont, but i'm skeptical.

i applied to Oxford University and got turned down. that sucked a lot. :( one of my mates got in though, which makes it worse, the wanker.
i did get accepted to 2 of them (Bristol and Aston), but i'm still waiting to hear from my new first choice.

i go to usc but i remember when i was applying...
i applied to most of the UC's, stanford, emory, and USC. i got into all of them except stanford and berkeley. i would have gotten into berkeley but i'm out-of-state and out-of-state admissions for berkeley is insane.

I think I have some comrades at UC Berkley...smart fucks. Ya I got into the whole three schools I applied to but I didn't get into their med programs...so I just stuck with Stony Brook (the cheapest school and I def. get more bang for my buck over here). SBU SEAWOLVES! WEIRDEST TEAM NAME EVER!

I plan on applying to NYU and I plan on getting rejected from it. I have no other choices lined up just yet, but I am only a junior.

You know it! I might apply to BU or Northwestern.
I'm really interested in Rutgers (New Brunswick) and I've heard that some people think it sucks, but I'm still not sure. Has anyone here studied there or know anyone who has? If so, did you (or your friend) like it? Was it worth it?
I'm on the west coast and I don't want to spend 4 years of my life (and not to mention $23,706) stuck in a hellhole. :)

girl from my school is going there next year to play golf. she picked that over some southern schools. the city is probably very industrial and not that appealing

Rutgers (New Brunswick) is a very good school and it's cheep for jerseyans like myself. I hear the surrounding town/city isn't too nice though.
I applied to: New York University (#1 choice), Lehigh U, Drexel U, and The College of New Jersey....now I just have to wait until the end of March.... : /

Rutgers in New Brunswick has its own form of STDs. If you applied, I'm sure you remember what the essay was about. Rutgers is very diverse, but there is also a looot of racism there. It's really unfortunate.
