hey, i was listening to mix cd from college and this song came on and i can't remember what it is. it sounds kind of like texas is the reason or sunny day real estate, but it's not either one of them. it seems like it's from the early 2000's...
here are the some of the lyrics:
(starts really slow, very softly sung)

you could have said i was forgiven... it wouldn't take up that much time.
now sometimes.
