I don't talk about this much because I hate when people constantly self-promote their band on message boards. I mean its cool to self-promote but when you make it an annoying process, it gets lame. Anyways, I'm in a two peice band and we want to do at least one acoustic cover song. Anyone have any good ideas? We have a few possibilities but nothing to really motivate us. So if you could post some cool acoustic songs, that would be great. Thanks.

truthfully, there's nothing more annoying than a band doing a cover exactly like the original because odds are it won't sound as good as the band did it, so my advice is pick a song that's not acoustic and rearrange it so you guys can play it. at least then it sounds like you had some influence on the song.

Oh, I know what you mean. We're willing to do that. Well, I am at least. My friend is being a dick about the cover song thing. If its not something he made up then he won't go along with it. I'm going to trick him. I'm going to find a song he doesn't know and play it for him. Let him come up with his own leads to it.
