Todd Weinstock (ex-Glassjaw (www.glassjaw.net)) has a new project that everyone has been calling Easy Tiger. Unfortunately, due to legal reasons, the band was forced to change their name and are currently calling themselves Torpedo (although this might also have to change due to legal reasons). Check the band's official member line-up below:

Tj Penzone: Vocals
Ricky Penzone: Bass
Todd Weinstock: Guitar
Nick Hook: Keyboards
David Sullivan-Kaplan: Drums

wasnt that the line up (minus todd) of Descendre?? Who kicked ass for 3 demos.

Is there anywhere one can get a hold of these Torpedo demos?

And is Mogis REALLY producing?? Cause thats the best news ever.

Check it,

Ex-Glassjaw guitarist Todd Weinstock has been in the studio as of late recording the debut album for his as-yet unnamed new group. Producer Mike Mogis (Cursive, The Faint) has been helming the sessions while a release through Warner later this year is expected.

indeed...i have a few of the demos on my computer and i rock them constantly. this isn't going to be what you guys are expecting. it's so accessable. this is stuff that they could play at clubs and shit, but the whole scene will be into it as well because of the glassjaw/reunion show connection. simply put, it's some of the most original, catchy, and fun music i have heard in a very long time.

Yes he is. They're currently at Saddle Creek Studios, Omaha, Nebraska laying down tracks.
