I'm looking for some bands to check out along the lines of Copeland, Dear and the Headlights, The Format, or Lydia. If anyone has suggestions on what I should be listened to, I would be very appreciative.

I have no idea who those bands are, but now I'll look. =] And I don't know if this will fit the sound you're looking for, but I really like this band Stella Vicarious that is local for me, in Hollywood. I like a band Panima as well, but they're kinda poppy so... good luck! =]

I've actually stumbled upon you folks before, and your sound isn't half bad. Keep at it.

Check out my band. The songs on our myspace are demos and more or less standard fare in terms of production, but our new album has a lot of different instruments and arrangements reminiscent of some of the bands you're talking about.

I can send you some of the tracks from the new record if you're interested. It was co-produced by Ace Enders.

Not bad at all. I'll have to give this stuff a better listen in the morning when I'm more awake.
Nonetheless, I'm just relieved to know your band isn't called Rock the Score, which would be horrible. The Score is much, much better. Haha.

Yeah, that would be a terrible terrible name. Like I said before, let me know if you're interested in hearing more. I would gladly oblige.

It might not be exactly like these bands, but I will never stop plugging this band until they get the fame and respect they deserve.

I love The Cambiata! You also might want to listen to Fly Upright Kite, they're this weeks unsigned exclusive www.absolutepunk.net/flyuprightkite (http://www.absolutepunk.net/flyuprightkite), very similar to Copeland but still original!

up and coming Atlanta, Ga rock/pop band. They're worth checking out! From the songs they have up I think they sound a little like the academy is, starting line, saves the day, even a hint of the used. give it a listen and share your thoughts!
