Dazed and Confused by a long shot (well out of the ones I've seen). I also really enjoyed A Scanner Darkly - very cool movie.

I think Before Sunset is one of the best films of the past ten years. Went with that.
Also went with this. Loved the youthfulness of Sunrise but Sunset was so much more painful and that's partly why I love it. Both films are great, two of my favorite movies and I really hope they follow through on the promise of continuing the story over a couple more films as the years go by.

I do also love Waking Life though.

I just added Before Sunset to my Netflix queue. Is it important that I see Sunrise first?

I remember reading something a couple years ago from Ethan Hawke where he said that they had originally had plans to do a third one that took place almost immediately after the events of Before Sunset. It was supposed to take place two weeks later but then plans fell through so it never got made. I know Linklater's got Boyhood coming out in 2013 so I hope you're right about 2014...I'm crossing my fingers. It would be kind of neat because of the time length between each film being similar.

i didnt know he did a bunch of those movies. he seems to be really hit or miss. i loved A Scanner Darkly but i absolutely hated Waking Life.
