2005 will be remembered as the year of album release date pushbacks, let's hope fall out boy doesn't fall victim to this.

just in time for bamboozle, assuming the release date doesn't get pushed back.

This show had one of the lamest crowds I've ever been in. It made me reconsider the type of music I listen to just to avoid such crowds.

i never understood people like you...they scream very little in like 2 songs...it's not like boys night out where its super prevolent, all i want out of this album is more than 12 songs...i remember when all punk/pop cd's were 15 tracks minimum.

yea, and they were all under 2 minutes...
I'm fine with a 10 song c.d. if it's amazing. (i.e. Tell All Your Friends) because, when it's that amazing, you can keep listening, and it never gets old.

i can't wait! in the "my heart will always be the b-side...." dvd, they said the new record will be sexy. i think we need have a little more faith in our fall out boys. since the last full album, the only song worth skipping on either of their cds was "love will tear us apart"

they said in AP that they aren't changing and that their new cd would take off exactley where take this to your grave left. More poppunk chords catchy vocals and riffs.
I love these guys. If it would only come sooner.
The wait is almost as long as harry potter. :eek2:

Yes it was, I was at the bar until FOB and then i went down and kinda wished i had stayed at the bar. Way to many crowd surfers and little girls falling everywhere. Oh and don't forget the guys that are trying to "protect" their girlfriends.

join me in my revolution! if someone crowd surfs over you, you take their wallet and then throw it. the idea is not to steal money, but to bring down the person's enjoyment level as much as they've brought down yours.

are you kidding me? that was such a great cover

My thoughts exactly. Northstar was selling Pollyanna early at Skate and Surf. Maybe FOB will sell this a little bit early, too.

I'm pretty sure they recorded at least 14, possibly 15, songs for the album.

yea thats the thing though, see i just think the screaming is out of place. i love fall out boy, they are a great pop-punk band, and i just think screaming is unnecessary.
and with bno, screaming does occur prevalent, but it doesnt occur out of place. anyways, thats just my opinion

supposedly they used to be in (a) hardcore band(s). i dont know much about it, but with the type of music they play now that seems highly unlikely. anyone know anything about this?

Wow, slim reaper, you are such an ass. I actually hope you do stay at the bar and get piss ass drunk. We were all 16 year old kids crowd surfing (some of us still are) just having a good time. I'm not much for crowd surfing or moshing anymore but let the damn kids have their fun. Stand in the back if you have to, damn.

Pete used to be frontman for Arma Angelus..and another band that's been namedropped is Racetraitor. Both from the Chicago area.

if it even comes close to tell all your friends, i won't be listening to any other cd next year. For some reason, tayf was like 1 huge song. Everytime I listen to a song on that cd, i'd end up listening to the whole thing.

that reminds me of a matchbook show last month. Some wigger kid dressed in a huge parka, standing in the middle of a mosh pit, grabbed some kid by the neck because the kid was hxc dancing but looked like he was gonna punch his gf. the end.

yeah pete did that, you can listen to some of their stuff on radiotakeover.com, it's pretty awesome, kinda metallic hardcore. "Hey" Chris was also in that band.. if you dont know who that is then nevermind.
Racetraitor is the band Andy (the drummer) was in. i dunno what bands patrick n joe were in, but yeah they were all in hardcore bands.
plus i was at the show in NYC on 12/26 and the new songs are pretty intense, one is heavy and they were both awesome, i expect great things. :)

I've been trying to find some Arma Angelus stuff. I've seen discs for sale online, haven't got around to ordering one, though. Thanks for that info on radiotakover. Haha, Hey Chris is awesome. I get a kick out of reading his livejournal.

That's cool. I wanted to go to that show, because my friend's Dad live in Ohio and she was gonna see if he could take us up there, but no-go. I missed them in Nashville with TBS, too, 'cause the guy that ordered my tickets for me wouldn't call me back. Oh well, that was his money lost, not mine. I hate living in TN, 'cause I always have to go to Atlanta for good shows. I was really pissed I missed the Nashville show..

Pete Wentz played bass in a band called Race Traitor with Andy Hurley, "Hey Chris" DeadXStop, and a dude named money. He was also the front man in a band called Arma Angeles. Joe Trohman breifly played bass for Arma Angeles towards the end of the band. Andy Hurley was also in a band called Kill The Slave Master from Milwaukee. Patrick Stumph played drums in a band called Patterson, and a few other bands before joining with the rest of the gang.
