I can't fucking wait! This is gonna be the kind of movie that I might need to start eating acid again to see. Depp is SO perfect for this role...Glad to see it's finally being done right.

i agree what the trailer isnt to great but i think that the movie is going to be awsome.

Starring Johnny Depp and directed by Tim Burton, what can possibly go wrong.

when i went to see that series of unfortunate events movie, seeing that trailer made me freak out. i'm so excited for it.

Yea, the trailer wasn't all that spectacular, but I will agree...the pairing of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton again is AWESOME!

I'm on dial-up... if this is the trailer when fucking oompa loompas are singing "williy wonka, willy wonka...." in the background, and Wonka says "Chewing gum is really gross, chewing gum I hate the most," at one point, then yes, it is a lame trailer.

As I stated in the other thread I am excited for this movie. The old one was a little out of date but it was still a classic. I love Tim Burton films but I think he was going for too much of an "Artsy" approach. Johnny Depp is a great actor but did he have to be Willy Wonka? He looks like a derranged manikin in this movie. Oh and Danny Elfman could have wrote a better song than "Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka"

wow, i knew they were remaking this movie but i never really read into it. when Burton's name flashed on the screen i freaked out. and then when Johnny Depp came on the screen i freaked out more. i think its gonna be good

i just got done watchin the original... why change a good thing? i'll see it just because i have faith in tim burton.. but...ack.. that trailer did not help my enthusiasm.

Willy Wonka was supposed to be deranged...they 'cutsied' up the original, when it's really supposed to be a dark, dark story. They're doing it the way it should be done...instead of screwing with it like The Mask, which would have been an awesome film, if done right.

lol they are making a "Son of the Mask" It looks like the stupidest movie of '05. I guess your right but I'm still going to question it till I see a better trailer or see the full movie itself.

LoL, yea I saw a poster for that last night when I check out Life Aquatic (maybe the most genius film of '04...fuckin' hilarious).

Can't they at least wait for Jim to die before they ruin his films with horrible sequals...I mean first Dumb and Dumberer, or whatever the hell that atrocity was called. Now this? When will the madness end, WHEN I ASK YOU!? :headshake

the only good thin about dumb and dumberer was bob saget screaming " Theres shit everywhere!! its all over the walls! ahh oh my god!!!"
