Direct to DVD Sequels to Without a Paddle, Grease, Mean Girls, Road Trip, Bad News Bears, and Naked Gun will be out by 2010. http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1595187/20080918/story.jhtml?

I didn't read the article, but in some cases, Direct-to-DVD is becoming a legit way to release more material for existing movies if they don't fit into the theatrical release or something. For example, there's supposed to be a DVD-only supplement to The Watchmen with Tales of the Black Freighter. Still, in most cases, they suck.

It's Rex Manning!,but to me straight to dvd sequels are pointless and never do quite as well with fans of a original film,case in point The Lost Boys 2 film.

The Lost Boys 2 was shit to begin with, outside of Autumn Reeser looking hot throughout the film.

The last STD (lolz) sequel I liked was Wrong Turn 2, just because it delivered on the promise of gore, tits, and Henry Rollins.

Wrong Turn 2 ruled. A third one is coming out next year supposedly.

I cannot wait for TOY STORY 3. I can't believe the first one came out in 95. I just watched TS2 the other day. :-)
