im looking for new bands. im a huge AFI fan and i also like bands like my chemical romance and brand new....does anyone know of any bands who sound like or have the same style as those bands....i need something to get me bye while my 3 favorite bands dont have anything significantly new out.

Please do yourself a favor and buy Thrice's The Illusion of Safety... not because Thrice sounds like those bands, but because it will change your life.

Hmm... it's a different album. It will blow you away. It's a lot harder, and in a sense, the parts are more sophistocated; however, the boys wanted to clean up all of the crazy parts, and that's why TAITA is a bit more refined. Definitely listen to it and keep the lyrics book open at the same time. It's an amazing, amazing album.
