Ex-Underoath + Black Tie Tragedy = New Band

It seems that Daryl (ex-Underoath) and former members of Black Tie Tragedy have come together to form a new band called Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster (http://www.purevolume.com/mayleneandthesonsofdisaster).

And yeah, Daryl already has a bunch of projects. The new Glassjaw album, Head Automatica, Shoot Frank (or whatever), Geometry, the one project with Geoff Rickly and some other cool dudes, and now Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster. Wonder if Daryl can trigger all of those projects (besides Head Automatica now that's been done with)?

wow! Im even surprised how much this piece of news got messed up. Its not daryl, its dallas who is the former singer in underoath, it is not daryl palumbo of glassjaw. Dallas has started up a band with former members of Black Tie Tragedy and Lasting Value called Maylene and the Sons of Disaster (actually this band has been around for a while they just haven't released anything). I'd say it sounds a bit like old underoath without the keyboard and with a really strong southern rock influence.

i wouldnt say so much 'singer' as i would 'screecher/screamer' at most parts of the cd. but thats a good thing. u/o new and old rocks my socks off. forgive me, ill never say something that ridiculous again.
