I just saw a preview of a movie called Sahara starring Matthew MconaHEY (I don't know how to spell it) and it looks EXACTLY like 'National Treasure" but instead of being in America, its in Africa. You can see it on Mtv.com, in the "trailer park" section. I hate Hollywood movies.

Thank god Sahara isn't based off a book by Clive Cussler written more than 10 years ago otherwise it wouldn't clearly be a National Treasure ripoff.
On a side note, the Dirk Pitt series rules, I hope Sahara turns out well.

Well it is based off a book I just didn't hear witch one. But doesn't it just seem to be too much like National Treasure (which wasn't that great of a movie)? You have your main character, His funny sidekick, the girl, and the bad guys trying to get to the treasure before they do. It's just a different type of treasure and different setting. Hollywood needs some new ideas.

Of course you could say that about so many different things. Indiana Jones movies, to a degree Bond movies (21!!!), its just the old action adventure formula. There is a formula to 90% of what is out there, its entertaining enough, but the 10% of non-formulaic things are where you find the best of the best.

And I guess the sarcasm was too deep, its based of the book Sahara by Clive Cussler which was written a good amount of time ago. I don't remember how long.
