Why don't you ever talk about the label 99cent Records. They are doing some awesome stuff for their band A Step Behind and are also looking for new talent to add to their roster.

You can check out their site at http://www.99centrecords.com

i couldn't get that Class Action's site to work, so I IMd the guy... and let's just say that he was a little less than excited about someone having interested in submitting a demo. I don't know the guy, but based on the bried conversation I had with him, I don't know why a band would want to work with him. Awesome.

Numero Uno, Busy with IM's. Dos, Dont be immature and call a one man label (as we speak) not excited. I am excited to get this label moving. And I am not going to fall to your level (SpotCollins) and call your whole band immature, because if you expect to get signed, then show some respect towards the people you're going to work for and work with. Sorry if i have to defend this, but I am not going to be put down on, espically since there isn't any bands on my label to show what this label can do. Thank you.

well, Eins, I wasn't trying to disrespect you at all, although I felt very disrespected by your lack of encouragement in my interest of wanting to know how to submit a demo. Zwei, I'm sorry that your life is so bombarded by IMs right now that you'd be willing to have someone submit you music through a file transfer, but not actually talk to them. Drei, I'm sure your label will do well when you get artists, however, if your response to the question of submitting a demo is always, "you can send it through mail. there's an address on the site [that doesn't work].", then I think you'd be hard pressed to find many artists that would be excited about sending you anything. Again, no disrespect, and I'm sorry you think this is immature, but if this is what you want in life (like my band is what i want), then I promise you it is not. Thank YOU.

Lets just find out where your band goes and where my label goes. I'm human and isnt afraid to throw them fighting words.

-Carlos Alex Moreno Owner of Class Action Records

Got a problem IM me then, and state your problem and question me as much as you want. I'll be the label that speaks to it's supporters.

Honestly man, I didn't post anything to hurt your label or you ego, so I think you're the one being immature now. Also, we're the only one's reading this thread anymore, so there's really no need to defend yourself, but that's mostly because I'm not attacking you. Like I said in the last reply, I'm sure your label will do well when you et some artists. However, never once did I receive a "thanks for your interest" or a "good luck with your band anyway", so I'm telling you that I will not be the first person to crticize (not attack) you or your label and if you really do want to be seen as someone who talks to those who support you, then you need to kill those who might not with kindness, don't let them have a reason to not support you. My band isn't signed, but when people criticize us, we don't defend ourselves, we thank whoever it is for listening anyway, and believe it or not, those people respect us for it. I don't want enemies in an already imbalanced and unsteady scene, so if it makes you feel better, we can pretend like nothing ever happened at all, and I apologize for any offense you took to my taking offense. Good luck with the rest of your life, I'm sure we'll both live through this.
