my personal favorite is Brian Eno

his work with The Talking Heads and Coldplay's new one were amazing

and his music was sweet too

Have to agree on Brian Eno... that guy is genius... ever listen to St. Elmo's Fire... that track by him... man, that was just downright revolutionary, sound-wise, for the early 70's
