Mae (Official Thread)

I could not find an official thread for the band Mae, so I thought I'd start one.

Here's some of the new things going on with Mae

-They are supposed to be releasing a b-side for download on whatismae.com in the near future.
-They're re-recording some songs from Destination: Beautiful for a re-release of the album.
-They're supposed to be releasing a song a month for download in 2009. Those songs are also supposed to be released as 3 limited edition EP's. I believe I read that these songs are similar in style to Destination: Beautiful

Discuss this band. What's your favorite Mae album? How do you feel about this song a month thing?

Here comes all of the Singularity bashing now. I think that records solid. Just a fun rocknroll album. I actually prefer it over The Everglow.

I think Singularity is a solid album, as well. I don't think it's anywhere near as good as The Everglow or Destination: Beautiful, though.

great band. The Everglow is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Terrible band. Suspension was really their only good song.

I and own all their albums but Singularity, so yeah. I used to like them when I was 15. Now I can't stand them.

yeah I think Singularity gets too much hate. and it boggles my mind how they flopped. people at EMI fucked up again (i.e. Over It, The Explosion, Ima Robot). if you couldn't get "Brink Of Disaster" or "Just Let Go" big, then you don't deserve your job
