I don't know... I havn't really listened to them much but I am kinda into their music..

I got into them about a year ago when they were among some of the local favorites in Denver at the time.
Then they blew up across the nation and became a scene teen sensation and got signed to Rise Records. Once I saw them live over the summer, I decided they were nothing but talentless hacks.
I even gave their new album a listen. It's just all their old ass played out songs from their EP and some new tracks that I would hardly consider to be new. Same sounding shit they've done since their days playing at Lifespot. Nothing has changed. These guys are gonna be forgotten by 2010.

i love them.
The Birds and The Bees is one of the best dance songs I've heard in a long time.
Finally, a group that is just the right amount of techno, rock and vocals/lyrics.
if you haven't given them a chance- you should, and make sure you turn up the volume.

it's not like the music industry is easy to stay on top of.
I mean, look at the shit that's all over the radio.
They're unique, and their old stuff is worth a listen is all I'm saying.

Wow, you basically said what I think and thought about them. I listened to them a long time ago when they were just coming up and I liked. But most everything you said is right. I never saw them live though or listened to the new album at all

they're probably the most basic ''band'' I've ever heard. You can't even consider them a band. I don't know, it sounds kind of cool on the surface but once you dig past that, as you should with all music, it's weak.

Although the new album didn't really offer anything great in the form of new tracks, they're pretty bog standard, filler really.
But the Gossip EP has a few amazing songs, Birds and the Bees is an amazing track.

Except when the chorus kicks in, I think it would've been acceptable in another song, but because of the rest of that one it's just a bit abrasive and annoying.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one. Probably one of the most horrible covers I've heard, I really don't dig it. Does absolutely no justice to the original song. The beat itself drives me insane, along with the "droning" synth sound, can't describe it that well. The vocals were alright, but then Kyle's scream kills it like a baby getting smothered by an airbag.
Eh, I seen them on sunday they are on tour with Every Avenue and The Morning Of. They weren't bad but its kinda annoying after a while.
They were better than Brokencyde which was horrible I might add.

kinda funny that you ever thought they were good though
i played with them a few times in this band i used to be in but when they came on it was considered "load out" or "dinner time"
and it is no surprise that they are popular and definitely did not struggle to do shit
every show they played they got paid good money for (lifespot and the element give lots of money to the local bands) they marketed themselves to wannabe-trendy teenagers. they never played any of the DIY or art venues because they had no real underground/indie ethics
