An update from Minus The Bear (http://www.minusthebear.com):

"Yes, today is the day we start recording our next full length release. At the moment we have 13 or 14 songs and we are stoked to get started. If we are really on it we will have a studio diary of some kind, but it will likely just be on the message board. More info to come as we feel like sharing it."

I'll be the first to say this is probably the most underrated band out there. If you don't own anything by them, then do so ... NOW! This will be one of the best releases of the year (if it comes out this year - which I'm sure it will). "HOUSTON, WE HAVE UH OH!"

One of the most underrated bands out there by far. And I agree that they have some of the best song titles out there, although The Buzzing Bees still have some of my favorite song titles as well.

"Bite the Curb. It's Vegan, I Swear"

seriously, i think they put something in the water in seattle. that area has better bands than the entire east coast.

Now it's Decoy's turn to credit AP every third post that appears 30 minutes after it's posted on AP, often with the same exact wording...or hell, credit anywhere they get it, since they steal news from all kinds of ezines, including HSB.

My favorite title is, "Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse."
I saw these guys in Buffalo on the Braid Reunion Tour.
By far, most underrated band out there right now.
Metal kids playing indie Rock.
I think it's awesome that a lot of people that work for AP.net appreciate the hell out Minus the Bear.

Jared, you were the first, but you sure as hell won't be the last to say how underrated they are. Back in the day I was trying to download a Bear vs. Shark CD, and somehow one of the genuises on soulseek managed to get the confused with Minus the Bear. Thank God for his ignorance. Minus the Bear > Bear vs. Shark,
