Bayside (www.baysiderocks.com) is currently writing their new album and they'll be entering Loho Studios with producer Shep and Kenny (LFO, Mandy Moore, Vitamin C) in Manhattan on March 1st. You can check a full update from the band in the replies.

"The small break for the holidays was really nice but it's time to get back to work. We are currently locked in our practice room in Lindinhurst Long island. We're writting the record in the same room that TBS wrote 'Where You Want to Be', Brand New wrote 'Deja Entendu', the Movielife wrote '40 Hour Train...' and the Sleeping wrote 'Believe What We Tell You' so hopefully those dudes all left some inspiration on the walls for us whille we write. We'll be entering Loho Studios in Manhatten on March 1st to start tracking the record with super producers Shep and Kenny. They've written and produced records for Mandy Moore, LFO, Vitiman C, Hall and Oates, Marcy Playground and a bunch of others. We're real excited about it. That's pretty much all i got right now. I've been listening to alot of Nick Cave and Johnny Cash"--Bayside

So has Tate finished banning Ferio and clearing up the mess he made by threatening to sue a certain site.
By the by, Frank and Kelsey, your both fucking cowards. I expect this to be deleted fairly quickly, can't have anyone finding out your dirty little secrets. :wink3:

it was posted on p u n k r o c k s. n e t but now it suspeciously seems to be missing. Probalby after tate threatened another website with another lawsuit and pretty much explains why this website is having so called "maintenance".
Needless to say, I wasn't shocked at all.

why does anyone care about the drama between people running the site...i thought we looked at this site for information concerning bands we like...not about a boss fighting with employees.

i want to know more details. what would the suit be for? who does tate have representing him? i am an entertainment attorney and would really like to get in on this fun.
threatening someone with a lawsuit, if unfounded, is itself an actionable tort that you can be sued for.

Um, lots of peeps. We do studio side though. So the big companies and labels and agencies: Warner Bros (TBS pending), Universal and Vivendi, CAA (mark and tom from blink), IMG, etc. We rep a few individuals like Anna Kournikova. But I want to move towards more "talent" oriented.

because bayside is working with a pop producer i'm figuring their sound is going to be like their old stuff because they were a "POP" punk or maybe they'll turn into eighteen visions :(

Well you cant go wrong with someone who produced such class acts like LFO, Mandy Moore, and Vitamin C. To quote LFO "i like girls that wear Ambercrombie and Fitch." Wisdom beyond thier years, thats for sure.
Didn't one of the LFO guys start One Eleven Records? The label that The Spill Canvas, Rory, and some other bands are on? Weird.

^that would be the label's doing, not the band or producer.
why did ferio quit?
and, bayside is amazing. sirens and condolences was my favorite release of 2004, super stoked for this.

The new album will sound different for the simple reason half the band is new. I think the bass player that left wrote a lot of stuff. Or at least he would come up with the rhythms and lyrics. I wish they would go for a bit harder sound but that seems out of the question. The new demo was awesome so I am expecting a lot. I wouldn't worry too much about the producer. After Sirens and Conodolences, I think these guys know what they are doing.

well john feldman, the same guy who produces the used and story of the year was planned to produce ashlee simpson so yeah. doesn't mean that it's gonna turn out shitty, bayside knows what's good for them.
