Man this was a fucking awesome movie. Then again I LOVE :love: :love: :love: Wes Anderson's work. I love the Zissou brand Addidas.

It's good, but Anderson's worst work. I still liked it quite a bit, but its almost to the point where Wes has fallen in love with his style and strange staccato dialogue. It works really well in the other movies, but he almost goes overboard in Life Aquatic. It was disappointing because I was expecting a top 3 movie of the year for me and I got maybe top 10.

my friend and I are big Anderson fans and he's seen it twice and will go with me when I see but he says its probably his best dialogue. i think Bottle Rocket has some amazing lines.

I want to see this, but I've actually never seen any of Wes Anderson's other movies, so I'm going to have to watch one of those to get an idea of what to expect. Just from talking to different people it seems like people either absolutely love or hate them.

I really really really liked this movie, the characters in it were absoloutely great, the way it was shot was really interesting and the set design was great. The dialogue at different points was out there and sometimes felt like a bit much and the movie was really really long. Plus I thought the soundtrack was really good.

But honestly, who could talk that bad about a movie where a guy does acoustic versions of David Bowie songs in Portugese?

I definetly recommend this movie.
