Went with Oceans 11, but EB, Traffic, SL&V, are all great. A lot of them I haven't seen.

Traffic. Solaris was such a disappointment, he took an amazing and brilliant book and made an alright film out of it.

traffic. ocean's 11 is about tied, but the whole scope and package of traffic puts it on top.

Never read the book, but it definitely doesn't have anything on Tarkovsky's version.

The book is one of my favorites, really brilliant. But I have yet to see Tarkovsky's, it's next on my Netflix Queue so I'll have it Wednesday. I've heard it's great.

I've got to read that, considering how little dialogue there is, I can't imagine how it is as a book.

There is more in the philosophical aspects of the situation as well as the scientific. It does a lot more explaining then the Soderbergh film. Stem's writing style is fantastic.
