What. The. Fuck. Absolutely absurd. I mean, they didn't test it on real people, so to speak, but that's still pretty frightening.

If this goes through, I'm really considering moving out of the country. Or at least to New Hampshire.

Walter is awesome

Edit: On a more serious note, this machine is ridicoulus. If this was put in airports, it would make people who are afraid of flying even more nervous, therefore more likely to set off the machine.

Did that article basically hint towards the possibility of facecrime?

I second this. I've been contemplating moving to either Canada or Australia for some time now (for reasons other than the government) anyway, why not give me another incentive?

Sarcasm? I wouldn't move to Toronto or Sydney, just like I wouldn't move to Chicago. There's other parts of those countries, you know.

I was actually about to post a similar thread in here... I read about them trying it out in airports. Simply will not work. Is this their only desperate, last ditch attempts to cut crime, seriously!? There are many people who think 'criminal thoughts' regularly, but are still law-abiding citizens.

it's not really easy to immigrate to either of those countries from what i hear.....i know in australia at least you have to show that you bring a set of skills in an area that the country feels weak on to get a residency visa.
