I wish I lived on the other coast. Who all played again? The seattle relief shows shows arent bad with MxPx and the Presidents and then 2 nights of Ben Gibbard.

it was kinda cool, but then kinda not. because they only played 6 songs. so the crowd wasn't very into the set since they didn't know 66% of the material.

I was there, could have sworn it was only three...the one they opened with, then when they played the two new songs in a row, it was the poppy one first, and then it was the really heavy metal one...I could be wrong though. =\

As a member of the crowd tonight at the tsunami relief show I'd like to say, EH. Agree or disagree with me, but the sets were way too short. Coheed played four new songs, and "A Favor House Atlantic", "Blood Red Summer", and "In Keeping Secrets..". Absolutely nothing off Second Stage. I sincerly believe K Rock's influence had a lot to do with that. Either way the new songs sounded great. My Chemical Romance's set felt like it was 6 minutes long, and that actually might be the real length. I would also like to know who the fuck made the decision to put My Chemical Romance on after Coheed and Cambria. In the past week or so have My Chemical Romance become more popular than Coheed in some organizer's head? Coheed played 4 new songs that absolutely no one knew or could really get into and still upstaged MCR. These guys have way too much hype around them. Slow it down a bit.

did one of the songs contain something close to the line;
you little whore/ i should have shut your face in the door
or something along those lines? he played that one acoustic at warped this summer

First off I believe the order of the bands was correct...
Coheed, I counted them playing 3 new songs and 3 released songs all off In Keeping Secrets; however I could be wrong. My Chemical Romance played 5 songs total all off Three Cheers and TBS played 7 nsongs with 5 new and 2 old.
Now I am outraged at this show 1) Because Coheed took it as a chance to rehearse new material 2) My Chemical Romance played for about 20 minutes 3)Senses Fail played more songs then MCR and Coheed...
I went to this show thinking that this was going to be one of the best shows I had ever been to... And it totally disappointed. Coheed should've played one new song at most, MCR should've played at least 7 songs (and managed to toss in "Honey..." off the old album), and in no way shape or form should Senses Fail have had as many songs as the headliner.
Bullshit.
Thanks for nothing

i dont see why ppl at the show were complaining about coheed playing 3 new songs.. first off the third song blew away the whole show.. secondly, it was new material and its not like any of it sounded bad, it all sounded excellent.. and thirdly, the new material was a lot better than everyone screaming a favor house atlantic in my ears.. maybe its just because i have seen coheed numorous times.. but i was quite thankful to hear not 1.. not 2 but 3 new songs.. sure there was no delirium trigger or everything evil or anything off sstb, but the 3 songs were AMAZING
p.s~ my chemical romance set- helena, thank you for the venom, you know what they do to guys like us in prison, give em' hell kid, I'm not okay.... y they would not play our lady of sorrows or headfirst for halos puzzles me cuz those r clearly their best songs to date

i believe it was only 50% the crowd wouldnt have known.. tho i would agree with 66% since the crowd could only sing along with blood red summer and afha and basically all of the crowd didnt know the words to iksse:3.. i think some ppl even thought iksse:3 was a new song.. shows how much of the crowd was an mtv crowd basically

So you're telling me the fact it was a relief concert nulls all judgements about it? If that was the case they shoudlnt have even had bands perform, just buy tickets to a show that wasn't going to happen. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a lot of people bought tickets to help support the victims of the disaster, but i believe it's safe to say that the main reason they went was because it was an amazing line-up...and the fact it was benefitting a good cause was just another positive thing about it, but definetly not the sole-reason by any means. When you pay money to see something you should be entertained, regardless of where the money is going.

the quality of those mp3s aren't very good. Maybe that CoCa fan site will have better versions of the songs from last night.

they get a limit of how long they can play...some songs are shorter than others.
Senses Fail is a NJ band, not like MCR isn't but well MCR is just overrated.

Dude, you're blowing my comment way out of proportion. Yes, you were meant to be entertained; the idea behind the relief concerts is to bring in bands people would like to see in order to benefit a good cause. But this isn't some pissing contest on who gets more time on stage or who played more songs. Coheed songs aren't exactly short so it's not that surprsing they didn't pay that many songs. The same thing happened at Warped. And most people consider it a huge treat to hear new or unreleased songs. Read the CoCa board, most of those guys are happier than pigs in shit. What if tone of hose songs were never released,w hat would you say then? The lineup was a great one, and I guess people expect to be comepletely LiveAid blown away or something because many people are REALLY nitpicking this shows. I'm not saying don't be judgemental, but I do think some people need to lay off the harshness. The fact of the matter is these guys took the time from their schedules to do a very quickly put together relief concert, so I say kudos to them.

yeah, i was gonna go, but then i heard the tickets sold out in SIX MINUTES. and furthermore, i heard that some people bought like 10 tickets to sell some to young kids for double and triple the face value. real great idea people. you know, it was a BENEFIT show, and people are trying to make a profit off of it? sick.
but, hearing that the show wasnt that good kind of makes me happy and a bit less upset

they need better parking, the back lot was a dam mud pit
i heard theres some type of noise code that says all concerts have to be over at 730, no idea why the 2 opening bands got to play a half hour, good show , good cause, not sure if it was worth the 35 dollars, and 2 hour drive...
