Hey everyone. I got a puppy. Yes she is cute and her name is Lucy (after Lucy in the Narnia chronicles, yes I'm a dork). She is a chocolate, and in case you didn't know, puppies are time consuming. So I've been watching the dog and writing lyrics and trying to finish up some songs. Teppei and I just put an interesting number today that we'll try to work out at practice tomorrow. That will put the number of songs at 20, though I doubt that many will actually be seen through to the end. The piano song from the last record has not been reworked but it looks like we might steal the chorus progression from it for a song with the working title of "Casio." Being in the new practice space is great and a lot better for communicating since we are so cosy. I will second Teppei's comment that the rain is getting a little old. Anyway, see some of you in Feb.

probably one of the most incredible records in our "scene." that cd has everything. melodies, breakdowns, and crazy guitar work. its a pretty intense record. the tours and the shows that went with illusion of safety were crazy as hell too. i cant wait for this record.

His readlist is amazing. I have yet to read any of these books. But if they are anything close to what the authors have put out before, then I would be stoked. Brennan Manning is awesome. He has a book called "Ragamuffin Gospel", which his most popular. He describes grace in the most plain, yet understandable terms I have ever read. Madelene L'Engle wrote the Wrinkle IN Time Series, which may be one of the most confusing, but captivating, science fiction books I've ever read. And CS Lewis, well, he's the man.

I will buy this new cd based solely on his readlist.

Words cannot express how excited I am. I think Thrice is the only band that no one dislikes; and, if you do dislike them, you'd get shut down in a matter of seconds...

C.S. Lewis is such a great author, more people need to get into his work. I remember first reading the Chronicles of Narnia in 6th grade, I couldn't put them down...I've been in love ever since.

-Our DVD called, “If We Could Only See Us Now” now has official street date. It will be in stores March 29th. It’s the story of our first six years as a band and will feature interviews with pretty much everyone who’s worked with us as well as a lot of live footage spanning from our time playing in living rooms and garages to everything we did this past year. Accompanying the DVD will be an EP which has all of our bsides from the Illusion of Safety and The Artist in the Ambulance as well as all of the compilation tracks we’ve done.

haha If I had the time I'd read the books so I knew what the lyrics would be like.

Oh and to Frank. Thanks for paraphrasing the update. That's a smart idea.

I absolutely LOVE Thrice! This has to be the most exciting piece of news I've read almost all night! I can't wait. 20 songs would kick ass, but even if all songs don't make it through, OH MY GOODNESS...It'll still be incredible!
